FetchIt uses one essential cookie and your browser’s local storage. No advertising or analytics trackers.
The one cookie
“fi_session” keeps you signed in. It is set only when you sign in, lasts up to 30 days (or until you sign out), can’t be read by scripts on the page, and is only sent to fetchit.shop. Because it’s essential to signing in, it doesn’t need consent.
Local storage on your device
FetchIt stores these in your browser so they work without an account. They never leave your device unless you choose to send something (for example, feedback):
- Saved products, your compare list, recent searches and recently viewed products.
- Your FetchProfile preferences and FetchWatch watchlist.
- Small settings such as “research my questions automatically” and an invite code from a referral link (kept 30 days).
Payments
When you pay, Razorpay’s secure checkout window opens and may set its own cookies to process and protect the payment. Those are governed by Razorpay’s policies.
Managing it
Signing out removes the session cookie. Clearing site data for fetchit.shop in your browser settings removes the cookie and everything in local storage on that device.
